Context
- 80% of Ugandans live in rural areas, yet most healthcare workers reside in urban centers. - COBERS helps bridge this gap by training students in rural health facilities. - Uptake of primary healthcare services remains low amidst high burdens of infectious and non-communicable diseases. - Communities are often not actively involved in their own health promotion, limiting sustainability.
